Go for Gold!!!

I have a golden retriever named Barney.

He is more blonde then gold ( but that does not matter )

I am so glad I found a group about those who love golden retrievers.

Barney is my dogs name although when we bought him he was named Isac ( we all think Barney soots him ).

He turns 7 this year and I am planing on buying him a huge bone, pigs ears and a c.d that I have herd of that you can buy your pet.

This c.d is a recording of loud noises and you play it to get your dog used of loud noises.

To begin you play it quite and then slowly bit by bit start playing it louder so that your dog can get used to it.

I am buying this for him because he suffers from anxiety from loud noises.

Do you as a golden retreiver owner or any one else reading this have any Ideas on ways I can calm Barney.

Also does any one have any Ideas about what I can do to stop Barney from being anxius when we leave for a short holiday. For barney also has separation anxiety and we might be going camping soon.
