5th week of OBC for Sasha and other stuff

This time round I've decided not to drive to the park for the obedience class. I walked with Sasha from my house instead and my mum would pick up after the doggy class. It was a tiring day for both my pup and I. Today's class wasn't to bad, she did perform well in some areas especially the recall, from what I could see comparing with the other dogs in the class, Sasha did the recall pretty well. I only had to call her name once or twice to encourage her to come me. The rest had to call their dogs more than twice or had to go back to their dogs which were in the hands of the trainer to re-encourage their dogs. I'm glad that my bond with Sasha is pretty good even though I do get mad at her from time to time.


Sasha finally manage to sniff her "friendnemy" a Female GSD whom is pretty unfriendly towards other dogs. The GSD is called Mindy handled by a uncle(Mr Yong) I got to know whom trains/breeds GSD. Both of our dogs have dominate personalities and most of the time Mindy doesn't really like Sasha because she won't submit to the GSD, but today they managed to sniff each other which was good and the managed to walk together side by side.

Earlier on before and after the class the OBC class. Sasha was playing with her good friends a 10month old Ridgeback and a mongrel. Both dogs played at different times. They had such a blast, I decided to just drop the leash and allow them to play in order for me not to get tangled up. I trust Sasha a little more now, but not all the time. She still likes to chase cars which she did when I opened the gate, she went in front of the car ( thank goodness the car slowed down) she then followed the car down the road but soon stop after. She came back to me after I called her a couple of times and when she saw my back turn to head back into the compound.
