I got a phone call from my mum tonight who thought she had found the perfect puppy for me. I've been looking for about 6 weeks for a new pup and i was beginning to think i would never find one.
My uncle loaned me the cash and we went out to have a look at her. A 10 week old Alaskan Malamute pup and boy is she gourgous. Sable and white in colour and unfortunately this guy was a puppy farmer. The conditions his dogs were living in were discusting. There was a Brown Doberman running free on the property with her teats almost to the ground and she was very poor looking. This guy led us down the back of his property and through this small tin shed that opened up into holding pens. The pens were a good size with room to run but not a blade of grass in any of them. I already had a name picked out and it fit her perfectly.
Her name is Luna
Luna was flea ridden, filthy dirty and my heart broke. i just had to have her so my Uncle paid what he was asking and i swept her up into my arms and almost ran for the car. I made my mind up then that i would report this guy to the RSPCA and hopefully the rest of the animals woulod find better homes.
When i got her home i took her straight into the laundry and gave her her first bath (probably ever). i used lots of flea shampoo and the water was black by the time i had finished. I was a bit nervous about going near her ears cause there was a red / brown discharge coming out of her right ear. I rang the dog groomer and booked her in then the vet just to give her the once over.
