Grass Seed Time

I came home from work on Thursday night to find Gemma rubbing her ears and her ears where lope sided. So stright to the vets, where as suspected a grass seed had gone into her hairy little ears. On Friday she under went a GA and had her ears plucked and grass seed removed. She so was so sad when she returned, moaning and smooching into my lap. Poor Little dear couldnt get comfortable.

Its now been 3 days and as she still is shaking her head about, she is much happier and very accepting of the ear ointment which I have to apply for a week.

I have now clipped her whole body as burrs, and grass seeds are every where this time of the year, Hope this will help prevent any more unexpected vet trips.

Although In the past I thought pet insurance was a scam, I now have applied as I think how important she is too me and have realised how quick something could happen to her that needs medical help. And as most of you may have found out that Vets are a lot expensive then visiting our Dr.
